About WorkThrive

WorkThrive is a mental health and well-being consultancy focused on creating healthy and inclusive workplaces. We offer well-being assessments, training events, leadership coaching, and organizational consulting to improve the mental health and well-being of employees. This privacy policy outlines our commitment to GDPR compliance and explains how we handle data collection, processing, and storage.

Well-Being Assessments and Services

WorkThrive provides:

  • Well-Being Assessments: Aggregate data is collected anonymously and used to inform organizations about their overall employee well-being. No personally identifiable information (such as names or emails) is collected during surveys, feedback, or assessments.
  • Employee Training Events: For workshops, we collect minimal information (such as the number of participants) only to facilitate the event. During these workshops, sensitive personal data may be discussed, but this information remains confidential and is not shared outside the workshop environment.
  • Confidentiality and Professional Standards: All discussions involving sensitive information during our workshops are mediated by qualified psychologists who adhere to strict professional ethics and standards. Any sensitive data shared remains confidential and is not shared outside the workshop setting.

GDPR Compliance Overview

WorkThrive adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure data privacy and security. Since we collect only aggregate, anonymous data for assessments, no personal data is stored or processed for individuals unless explicitly required for workshops. Organizations, however, have the right to request access to the aggregate data related to their employees.

  1. Data Collection
    • No Sensitive Personal Data Collected for Assessments: WorkThrive does not collect names, email addresses, or other sensitive personal data when conducting well-being assessments, surveys, or feedback sessions. Only anonymous, aggregated data is used to inform organizations about the mental health trends within their workforce.
    • Workshop Sign-Ups: For workshops, we may collect participant names to manage attendance, but we do not retain this information unless absolutely necessary for event administration.
  2. Right to Access and Deletion (Organizations)
Although individuals cannot request data from WorkThrive as no personally identifiable data is collected, organizations can request access to aggregate data collected through assessments. Organizations may also request that the data be deleted after it has served its intended purpose. Upon such requests, WorkThrive will erase the data in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. No Data Transfers Outside of the European Union
WorkThrive guarantees that any data collected (e.g., aggregate assessment data) will not be transferred outside of the European Union. All data processing occurs within the EU, and we comply with GDPR regulations regarding data security and protection.
  4. Data Security and Confidentiality
WorkThrive has implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the data we collect. While we do not collect or store sensitive personal information for assessments, any data that is collected is protected by industry-standard security protocols, including encryption where applicable. We continuously review and update our security practices to ensure data remains safe and confidential.
  5. Confidentiality of Workshop Data
Any sensitive data shared by participants during workshops is treated with strict confidentiality and is not shared outside the workshop environment. The workshops are mediated by qualified psychologists who follow professional standards and ethics to maintain the privacy of participants.

Legitimate Interests and Consent

  • Voluntary Participation: Participation in our assessments and workshops is voluntary. We ensure that individuals are informed about what data is being collected (if any) and how it will be used, in accordance with GDPR.
  • Consent: For workshops, we collect consent from participants to gather attendance numbers and manage the event. No personal data is retained beyond what is necessary for the workshop’s organization.

Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

WorkThrive does not share any personal data with third-party providers for marketing or business purposes. We may use third-party services such as secure hosting platforms to help deliver our services, but these services are bound by GDPR-compliant data protection agreements, ensuring that data remains secure and private.

Data Requests and Management (Organizations)

Organizations that engage WorkThrive can request access to the anonymous, aggregated data collected during well-being assessments. If an organization wishes to have their data deleted, they can submit a request, and we will ensure that the data is erased within a reasonable time frame.

Data Storage and Security

WorkThrive uses trusted third-party vendors and secure hosting services to store and manage any data collected. We are committed to ensuring that data is handled securely and in full compliance with GDPR. Regular audits and updates are performed to maintain the highest standards of data protection.
